Facilities Operations & Maintenance iServiceDesk (Work Order request system)

Welcome to the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Service Request page. By navigating the links to the left, you can place a service request, check on the status of your request and query work orders, including charges.

If you have an urgent request, please call our Service Desk directly at 6-1409.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE FOR KEY REQUESTS! To submit a door access request, contact your department's key coordinator - probably your administrative assistant. They will start the process for either a mechanical key or for electronic access.

Mechanical Key Requests: Complete Form, Forms and Services and scan to svcreqs@boisestate.edu

Electronic Access: Requires an email sent to accesscontrol@boisestate.edu

To create a Work Request:

Begin by clicking on "Submit a Request" on the link to the left.

To fulfill your request, we will need the following information:

  • Your name, phone number and email
  • Department Name
  • The location (building, room/area) of the problem
  • A brief description of the problem and/or your request. "Important!" Please specify if the issue is in a locked area; is the room accessed via mechanical key or electronically? Keypad or ID Card? Do we need an escort from the Department?

We process all your requests in a timely manner. The request will be forwarded to the correct supervisor for review; please allow 3 - 5 business days for this to process. If accepted, you will receive an email with an FM number. The estimated end date for the work request can be found on the iServiceDesk by searching for the work order number you received. If you think that your request or problem may have already been submitted, you can query by building/area under both the requests and open work orders.

To order materials from Central Store:

Under Material Request on the left menu, click on "Catalog Search". The drop down menu displays all the product categories.

  1. Select a category and follow the arrows. A selection of parts and descriptions will open.
  2. Select the part you want. Next, select the SKU code and the part details will appear.
  3. Select "Add to cart."
  4. Return to Catalog Search for more items, or proceed to checkout.
